Black Friday

Hi dearies,
So 'Black Friday' was on the 28th of November and Erm to be honest it kinda caught me off guard because i didn't get the memo that we now celebrate 'Thanksgiving' and the day after in Nigeria. Sighh. Nigerians enh, we can copy for Africa but i guess it's not bad since I am also Proudly Nigerian and I understand our need to always have an event that we can dress for and I understand our burning desire to EAT!!!

Anyways, I was supposed to have a date with the closest thing to a boo for me* but I woke up in the morning and did my instagram check and I was just seeing Sales everywhere. You would think that I would cancel my plans na but since I didn't have the money to spend, I had to move on swiftly in order to escape depression.

So.....I finally managed to leave my house at about 12pm when my date was supposed to be an all day event and we were supposed to meet at 11am. Chaii....Oga had already vexed but I totally understood cause I dont even like 5 minute delays. I finally see Oga at about 1.15pm and even though he was angry I still got a present!!! I got two really nice dresses. We basically had a chilled day and it was great. He had to get back to work at about 4pm so he bribed me and that bribe took me to ICM, where I bought myself yet another dress and my wig before heading back to home.

So that was how I spent Black Friday. I wonder if we'll get Boxing day sales as well so I'll know to start saving up. Should this be so?

*For this post and all other posts that this character would be referred to, I think its best if we call him Oga.

AM I NORMAL???...

Hello my lovelies,
My name is Miss Shade Adu, This is my first post obviously. I have always had a love for blogs since discovering 'Sisi Yemmie' and I have reached that point in my life where I feel like I have too much stored up in my head so this is the best free therapeutic option that i could come up with.
As a Nigerian youth facing many different challenges and drama, I cant help but wonder if I am actually a 'Normal' babe and the daily issues that I go through are actually the norm and i am just being a drama queen, or if I am actually living a very unique drama filled life that should be turned into a Nollywood season film like my very own SuperStory?
So anyways, i just wanted to introduce myself and to beg, plead, cry, and everything everything for readers and for comments. If you have anything that you would love my opinion on then you can also send an email to shouldthisbeso@gmail.com
